Cats in the Cradle of Civilization
by
C. L. Kraemer

Glenda Nagel, Contributing Editor of the Getty Museums magazine ‘Archaeology in Today’s World’, doesn’t realise what she’s getting into when she admires a piece of pottery and as a result is given it as a gift from the new Antiquities Director. She soon finds herself involved with Interpol agents Lydia Thompson and Nasim Shabouh.

The new Director, Omar Riyadh who is handsome to the extreme and ‘clever’ beyond all expectations, will go to any lengths to achieve his devious ambitions.

Nasim, as well as carrying out his job as Interpol Agent, is also seeking retribution to restore the honour of his family in Egypt.

C. L. Kraemer has created an easy to read, page-turning story which kept my interest throughout. It has everything – intrigue, thuggery, murder and romance.
The characters are well defined even down to Glenda’s furry friends!

An ancient Egyptian artifact finds its way into Glenda Nagel’s, editor of Getty Museum’s magazine, life. She must find a way to return the artifact without getting killed or jailed.

DEDICATIONS

To Shawneen Staley, whose critical eye and astute language skills help craft this story—without bloodshed. Thanks, Sis. And, as always, to my patient and encouraging husband, Larry.
